Position Overview:
Eurasia Group is seeking a Personal Assistant / Household Manager in the Office of the President to manage the principal and spouse’s household and serve as the family assistant. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in managing a household (and associated maintenance schedule) along with the personal priorities of two full-time executives and their wily dog. This role is based in Eurasia Group’s New York office and proximity to lower Manhattan is preferred.
In this role, the responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate complex travel arrangements (both domestic and international) and visa procurement as needed.
- Manage social calendars and extracurricular activities on behalf of both principals.
- Liaise with outside vendors, housekeeper, landscapers, etc. to coordinate all aspects of household management. Serve as onsite contact for deliveries and maintenance at New York residence.
- Work closely with onsite contacts for vacation home during off season. Manage friends and family visit logistics during peak season.
- Oversee personal correspondence for both principals to include: screening and responding quickly to mail, phone calls and emails. An ideal candidate should display excellent adaptability in communication, intuitively tailoring style and tone to match the recipient for effective and clear communication.
- Manage medical appointments, insurance claims, and billing.
- Take the lead on pet care logistics such as vet appointments, medication orders, grooming appointments, dog walk duty, and pet sitting.
- Run errands as needed.
- Maintain financial records, prepare financial reports, and respond to requests generated during financial review cycles
- Strong proficiency in data entry and information management across various platforms with attention to detail, consistency in recording and updating information are essential skills.
Requirements:
- Ability to prioritize projects as needed and exercise considerable judgment and discretion in completing assignments.
- Highly effective communication skills to efficiently work situations toward decisions. Clear written communication and proof of work are key to this role given pace of principal travel.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively in both an office setting and onsite at residence. Ability to maintain workflow processes while adapting to urgent issues is critical for this position.
- Valid Driver’s License (ability to drive a manual is very helpful in this role)
- Ability to lift and transport light loads and deliveries
- Must be dog friendly, at ease dealing with a small dog, and willing to take care of dog when owners are traveling
- Flexibility to be on call and sometimes work outside standard workday hours
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. Residency in mid and lower Manhattan is a plus!
The applicable base salary range for this role is 93,000 to 110,000
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
