In addition to education or education equivalent, requires a minimum of 5-8 years’ work experience in strategy, finance, buying/planning, procurement or related field. Experience must include consulting with clients regarding the purchase of information technology solutions. Broad understanding of finance and administration, fundraising, and/or marketing may also be required.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.
Salary Range: $82,632.63 – $131,997.59. Please note the typical hiring range is $90,000 – $105,000 annually. A different range may apply based on your work location. Location:
- Candidates located in the state of WA within driving distance to the World Vision Federal Way headquarters preferred. This would be a hybrid position with occasional travel into the office required.
- Remote candidates located in the Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones may be considered. Travel to the World Vision Federal Way headquarters is required every 6 months.

The Job: World Vision is looking for a Senor Procurement Manager to provide comprehensive vendor relationship and management services for the organization’s most complex and highest valued commercial contracting/purchasing requirements, including Information Technology/cloud-based solutions. Direct and lead internal clients in making well informed, value-oriented contracting/purchasing decisions. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
- Manage vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, and lead complex projects involving large teams of stakeholders. Provide professional expertise and interaction with vendors, effectively channeling communications between internal clients and vendors.
- Utilize strong business acumen, acute analytical skills, creative thinking, and innovation to solve complex contractual issues and opportunities and deliver successful vendor solutions to the organization.
- Collaborate fully with legal, finance, IT Security, and other organizational subject matter experts to ensure risk mitigated while the organization’s goals and objectives are achieved.
- Represent the Vendor & Contract Solutions department in leading and managing vendor contracts/purchasing for various WV client groups, including technology/cloud-based solutions, utilizing a keen business acumen and ability to lead in requirements discovery and insightful interpretation of vendor capabilities.
- Manage vendor sourcing, selection, evaluation, and contract negotiation. Use analytical skills, creative thinking and innovation to solve complex problems and deliver successful vendor solutions.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, IT Security, other subject matter experts, and key stakeholders in addressing requirements, and vetting contracts in protecting WV interests, while at the same time meeting client expectations.
- Consult with department Director in vendor contracting/purchasing strategy, vendor relationship management, administration, and organizational policies/procedures for contracting/purchasing.
- Communicate WV policy/processes and best practices to clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

- Resolve differences, develop solutions and incorporate contract changes. Contract Terms Knowledge: Understands basic contract terms and conditions. Able to effectively communicate understanding to others. Able to effectively add/delete/ modify commercial terms as appropriate in drafting contracts.
- Hardware/Software Knowledge: Demonstrates understanding of required platforms, equipment and operating system for area of expertise.
- Oral and Written Communication: Effectively expresses ideas, thoughts and concepts verbally and in writing, using correct grammar, organization and structure, and effective presentation media and techniques.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (eight years).
- In addition to education or education equivalent, requires a minimum of 5-8 years’ work experience in strategy, finance, buying/planning, procurement or related field.
- Experience must include consulting with clients regarding the purchase of information technology solutions.
- Broad understanding of finance and administration, fundraising, and/or marketing may also be required.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite and Share Point. Expertise with Excel – familiar with formulas, create pivot tables and the ability to pull reports. Experience with Net.
- Must have strong analytical skills.

Salary Range & Benefits: Your salary is important to you so it’s important to us. The full salary range is $82,632.63 – $131,997.59. Please note the typical hiring range is $90,000 – $105,000 annually. A different range may apply based on your work location. The salary range applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location.
